Portfolio Expansion

The following are categories and specific themes/concepts I want to shoot, in the expansion of my portfolio.

 

Corporate shots: Illustrate the many sides of modern business

  1. Office equipment, branding removed or bokeh’d out. Macro on equipment
  2. Staff at work, receptionist on phone, people near watercooler, woman at copy machine, people in board room

Concepts and Visual Metaphors: Go beyond the literal, and help a designer explain something in a new way.

  1. Play on words

Food and Beverages: Cuisines from around the globe.

  1. Asian dishes, wok/sitr fry while cooking, slicing fish, sushi being rolled
  2. General restaurant atmosphere
  3. bbq, pig roast
  4. Alcoholic cocktails during assembly

Groups & Teams: People working together.

  1. Same as corporate category, group in a board room, group brainstorming,
  2. On-site business team at construction site
  3. Student collective working and talking, library backdrop, park backdrop

Holiday & Seasonal Themes: Show all the ways we celebrate. Include more than religious celebrations; let’s see local festivals and customs as well.

  1. Traditional garb, cultural traditions in clothing, style
  2. People at a fair or amusement park

Non-Business Jobs: The word is filled with mechanics, garbage men, baristas, and more.

People Interacting: Human interaction is a constant in this world.
